Designed for a local church. This grape wall art piece was a blast to create. We drew up a design that both the church liked but also complimented the layout and style of the foyer in the building. Then I cut the piece out of 1/8 inch steel, cleaned up the slag, sand blasted the piece, then came the task of buffing the entire piece so the color would look good when complete. The coloring was a fun process, I heated the metal to the right temperature then moved to next spot until I got all the right colors in all the right spots. After all the coloring was complete I clear coated the piece for a completed master piece if I do say so myself.
